January 8, 2023

Cole, Roxy, Kade, Luna, and Spider are in the living room chatting. Cole has a halo over his head that is now fully green.

Cole looks over at Kade, "What?"

"What about Cheetah bites?" Kade asks.

"They are tasty, the crunchy ones are the best. I won't hear anything else," Cole responds.

"I like the puffs. Crunchy is overrated," Luna adds.

"I see Cole hasn't changed," Spider chuckles.

Cole laughs and looks over at Spider, "Seems that's a rare occurrence."

The pipes in the walls creak.

Cole snaps to staring at a wall, "They’re in the fucking walls..."

"Just like me," Roxy says from where she's sitting on the floor.

"The hell? Wait, is that...?" Luna stares at the walls.

Spider’s ear flicks at the sounds, "Here we go again"

"What? What's in the walls what the Fuck?" Kade looks around.

Orpheus enters the room through the front door. He stops, and stares at Spider, "Wait, what the fuck? You're back? I literally don't even remember the last time I saw you." He's grown since the others had seen him and wears sweatpants with a winter coat over a shitty wrath band t-shirt.

"Oh my god is that Orpheus?" Roxy comments.

Spider chuckles, "Charming, you look different."

They all hear Dren fall out of the kitchen sink before stumbling into the room. She's frowning and waves her arms in the air, "ZINGER! ZINGER!"

"Dren!? What's going on?" Luna looks visibly concerned.

Cole looks over at Dren, "What?"

Roxy stares at Dren, "Already?" She gets up like an old man.

"I do! Wrath does a number on a motherfu-" Orpheus shrieks and looks at Dren, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?"

Dren jumps and waves, "WEEEEEDABABADABADOOBADOO"

Kade looks over, "Oh it's the little guy."

Spider winces and growls at Dren, "So do I even wanna know what a zinger is?"

“As far as I understand, they're like massive divulgar boss fights, or princes of Hell," Luna explains.

Cole is blinking and staring at Dren, like a confused father.

"Didn't like, Claire and Roxy an those fucks already kill one?" Orpheus asks.

Kade feels wounded upon being lumped with those fucks.

"I have the skull we didn't kill it though I don't think?" Roxy asks.

"How did you get the skull?" Orpheus asks.

"Cerberus moose," Roxy says.

Dren stops jumping and looks panicked, "Next zinger is at prime time for cryin we need ta GO."

Orpheus looks at Kade.

Kade looks back, "I kinda tore off its antlers, too."

Cole shrugs, "alright, then I guess we are going." Cole gets up as several of his bones crack

Luna nods and summons her weapons, "Alright Dren, sounds like fun." She's got swords and knives equipped.

"YOU HEARD DREN WE NEED TA GO!" Roxy begins marching out the house.

"I'M READY TA GO!" Orpheus pulls out an axe.

"Holy shit old man Genesone do you need your walking stick?" Kade asks.

Luna, Orpheus, Roxy, and Spider head outside.

Cole pulls his cane out of his overcoat.

"I keep that mf thang on me," Cole follows Spider.

Dren waddles to the front door, She moves her arms like she's running but she still goes the same speed as walking "Gluttony zinger here we go!" Dren heads outside.

Kade feels like he's going to cry. But follows. Dren waddles as the group follows her.

They end up in the abandoned carnival like before. Dren approaches the carousel and waits for the others to catch up first.

"Oh this is familiar," Orpheus says.

"Oh boy I can't wait to sing for the year, sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear again!" Roxy exclaims.

"Yup, this is the same carousel we explored Orpheus," Luna adds.

Orpheus huffs, "Remind me to not break it this time."

Kade looks at Roxy, "What the fuck does that mean?"

"Someone doesn't read the Datrrs logs," Roxy says.

"Those exist?" Orpheus asks, confused.

"Yeah? They have their own website. It's super useful as a resource," Luna responds.

"Oh boy I can't wait for my soul to ache," Cole mutters.

"Now that the gate to hell is cleared!" Dren holds up her arms at the carousel as she presents it, "We can reach the Zinger of Gluttony! The slasher!" After the dramatic presentation Dren puts her arms back down and starts walking back home.

Roxy blinks. "Are you not gonna get on?"

"Uhm, Dren, you're not coming?" Luna tilts her head.

"Zinger is not in there" Dren says.

"...Then why did you…" Roxy sighs, "Okay, where is it?"

"Thought defeating a zinger who guards the gates to hell would look good on my resume, come on, come follow, come along now," Dren walks back to the house.

"Urgh." Roxy follows.

"That's our Dra- Dren." Luna sighs and follows.

"Goodness gracious," Cole follows.

"What?" Spider follows.

Kade blinks several times, before following again, "Ok."

Dren walks into the kitchen and gets out a pan. Roxy looks at the pan.

"Erm.. Dren, why do you have a pan?" Luna asks.

Orpheus stares at them. Spider walks in and leans against the table watching Dren. Kade gets a coca cola from the fridge.

Dren fills it with water and starts boiling the water, "Prepare for Zinger."

Roxy blinks.

Luna grabs a monster energy while waiting, "Delicious transgender juice. Call that the trans agenda," she snickers. Spider chuckles.

Cole walks in and grabs a slice of ham from the fridge, "Turkey slurpeee-" Cole inhales the slice of ham.

"That's not turkey dipshit," Roxy says.

"Not yet it isn't," Cole looks over at roxy.

Dren begins making Mac and cheese in a pan, The once beloved and trusted ally has dared to create such an abomination in this home. Infecting the air rises the smell of the accursed food. A delicious food but prepared in such a wrong way. only the soul of pure true evil would call this a good meal. Dren puts the mac and cheese in a bowl as she heads to the backyard.

"Pan mac and cheese...? Oh my god," Luna stares.

"What the fuck?” Roxy says while staring. Orpheus is fucking horrified.

"I mean. I'd do that-" Kade adds. They all follow Dren outside. Roxy stays behind to grab a monster from the fridge. Jesse staggers into the kitchen seeming rather sore.

Roxy sees him, "HEY JESSE! Wanna come see something cool?"

Jesse sighs, "Yes, absolutely." He nodded, catching up to her.

Roxy and Jesse head outside to meet up with the others.

Dren steps into the backyard with everyone and sits down the bowl in the yard, "DINNERS UP COME GET IT!"

Luna waits, dreading what's about to happen.

Orpheus nudges Cole, "What the fuck was that?..."

There's a growing feeling of bad luck

Cole looks over at Orpheus, "Mac and cheese in a pan." 

"...ugh, here we go," Luna groans.

Orpheus nods, "So the worst thing ever. Got it." He watches Dren, spinning his axe around idly. Any electronics in the area starts to glitch very slightly as a white screen cuts on in the trees. Luna sighs and pulls out her Marked broadsword.

"..these guys again," Spider groans.

Cole's eyes flicker a couple random colors as he shakes his head, "Aw fuck…" Cole draws his revolver.

Roxy and Jesse catch up with the group, and upon seeing the screen in the trees, Roxy chuckles slightly, nudging Jesse, "This one's gonna be fun."

Jesse makes a worried face, "Oh, cool.. Hey- Is that Cole?"

Thousands of screens cut on in between the trees. Dren takes a few steps back, "Have fun kiddos."

"Oh God oh fuck." Black smoke starts to rise off of Cole’s revolver.

"Oh, thats fucked up." Jesse's looking over the screens.

Roxy summons her bat with a smile, swinging it lightly at her side. Luna is taking deep breaths while watching the screens cut on.

"You said it Kade," Spider snaps their fingers, their knife appearing in their hand.

Jesse frowns and stands absolutely still, he holds a rock the size of a basketball. More screens cut on as they all move as one. It forms into a large beast much like a badger the size of a large house. Its mouth splits open as all the screens flicker indigo for a moment. It starts to loom its jaws over them.

"Oh this again?" Roxy sighs, tilting her head.

"Again?" Orpheus looks over at Roxy.

"This thing was at Claire's party-" Kade explains.

"OHHHHH-" Orpheus nods, "Right."

Cole cocks the hammer back on his revolver, "So like should I say a cool one liner or?"

"Great..." Spider mutters.

"If you do, I'm killing you instead of the Zinger," Kade comments. A sigil appears on the ground beside Kade, he reaches his arm into it and pulls out a large hammer, holding it by his side.

"This is going to suck." Luna readies her sword.

Jesse hides behind a tree stump, peering over it. The jaws lower over the group and they are surrounded by screens all around, There's a voice from above, "I have to admit, You all look kinda cute grouped together like that."

"Oh jeez." Roxy lets out a sigh and looks back to Jesse. "This is gonna be a bit harder than the slinger in the backyard yesterday.. lol."

"Son of a bitch," Cole looks up at where the voice came from.

Spider's ear flicks at the voice and they sigh.

"WAIT HUH???" Orpheus looks up.

Kade swings the hammer into one of the screens as it's smashed.

Sparrow is sitting in a swing of wires. White screens light up around her. Her hair is long with a rainbow ribbon cable in it. Her eyes are like pink screens. She wears a white and indigo dress. Her white webbed wings rest by her sides. Her broken candle horns are longer and she gives the group a smirk, "Not a one of you changed hm?"

Roxy stares, "Oh my god." She may be blushing a bit.

Jesse stumbled out from behind the stump. He looks really confused. "What?"

"Holy shit. Sparrow, what the hell happened to you?!?" Luna looks up at her, really confused and terrified.

Kade looks at Sparrow, then towards the others, "You all see a woman and proceed to die immediately."

"I've changed a little?!" Cole huffs.

"You've ALSO changed a lot," Orpheus adds.

"Doubt it," Sparrow remarks.

Jesse furrowed his eyebrows.

"I know I'm not the same person I started as..."

"Who are you saying doubt it to???" Orpheus tilts his head.

"Yeah hey wait a minute who are you doubting?" Cole lowers his revolver.

Jesse stands at an awkward angle, as if uncomfortable in his skin, "Some one for the love of god- PLEASE tell me what's going on."

"Spider's kismesis' villain arc," Roxy looks back at Jesse, "And that thing Sparrow's on is a Slasher Divulgar. Presumably the Zinger, which would probably make it the most powerful one."

"And who is that? Is that my replacement or something?" Sparrow gestures at Jesse.

Jesse chuckles "LOL no-"

Spider rolls her eyes, "Seriously?"

"I don't even know who that is???" Orpheus adds as he looks at Jesse.

"I wanna know who your doubting you fucking bitch!" Cole puts a foot forward.

"I'm pretty sure I'm the only person here who's actually his friend so like-" Roxy shrugs at Jesse, "Well aside from Cole."

"Fresh meat..." Kade mumbles.

Jesse kicks a pebble across the ground, "My name's Jesse-" He sits idle for 5 seconds, "And I'm the HollowHemlocks Guy."

Sparrow scoffs, "Hey Jesse, heads up, they will all turn on you one day for no good reason, also I'm doubting all of you. After the way you've treated me you all walk in here with weapons? I thought gander said to look for tears not death...unless you're going to decapitate me like you did the other Zinger…"

"Roxy did that." Kade points at Roxy.

"To be fair we didn't expect you to be here so like..." Cole puts a hand on his hip.

"Yeah that was just me," Roxy chuckles slightly, "Kinda wanted to one up Rose, so..."

Spider closes her eyes but sheaths the knife, "For crying out loud..."

Orpheus sighs and puts away his axe.

"I didn't even know what the fuck was going on!!! And, what have I done wrong to you???"

Luna sheathes her sword, but her paw is hovering the hilt, "Look, I just wanna get the tears and move on."

Jesse puts his hands up and stands off to the side, beginning to observe.

Kade still keeps his hammer in hand, he's looking at the others with a raised eyebrow.

Sparrow grumbles, "You didn't know it was me when you pulled my head off just out of curiosity," Sparrow glares at Spider before looking away.

"I WAS SO FUCKING PISSED OFF WHEN THAT HAPPENED???" orpheus yells.

"...I was trying to help, I didn't mean for that to happen" Spider mutters.

"And I didn't know what to do. I froze up," Luna

Cole's eyes struggle to stay on hazel brown as they flicker to different colors rapidly. His breathing stutters and struggles to stay in rhythm.

Luna looks over to Cole, "What's wrong?"

"So we're discussing a bunch of drama," Kade looks like he's about to smash another screen.

Jesse just leans against one of the screens, putting his hands in his pockets. Jesse can feel a heart beat in the screen. He spins around, putting both palms against the screen, "Woah... Funky..."

Orpheus looks back at Kade, "That isn't drama??? You weren't around when that happened. They tore off the head of someone Harmonia had just let into the house and when I asked what happened they said 'failed experiment.' I don't think that's drama??? I think that's a perfectly valid thing to be pissed off about??? Like, yeah. It's in the past, whatever, we've all moved on, but that doesn't mean we should act like it didn't happen. Murder doesn't become drama just because the person isn't dead anymore."

Cole's voice stutters and distorts slightly as he slowly looks over at Luna, "the-there's glitches i- i'm gli- glitching."

"Shit," Luna.

Spider sighs, "And to be frank I'm starting to agree with you Orph."

Luna nods in agreement with Orpheus.

Sparrow glares at Cole, "And what about you? I'm not worthy of being your daughter anymore? Now I'm just a villain to you?"

Kade adds, "Haven't we already addressed it multiple times already? Luna and Spider kept apologizing about it a bunch and Sparrow clearly doesn't want it to be talked away, so what do you plan to do about it?" 

"SPARROW WAS THE ONE WHO BROUGHT IT UP???" Orpheus yells again.

"And that's just it Kade. Sparrow literally cannot move forward from this. Her soul bars her from it. It's exactly why we need to get the tears for Frobwobber," Luna explains

"y-you- you've al-always be-been my my dau- daughter!" Cole slowly looks over at Sparrow, "i- i've bee- been wai- waiting fo- for you- you to cha- change! an- and sto- stop fight- fighting us!"

"You're lying just like the others," Sparrow says coldly.

Kade shrugs, "So basically a broken record. Not much can be done other than having to relive and get angry over it all over again."

Cole's movements become more glitchy as his breathing stutters more, "plea- please! sto- stop!"

Orpheus growls, "Fucking. ok." He looks back up at Sparrow.

The screens in the area change colors, making it look as if they are outside at night surrounded by arches. Sparrow looks unamused and watches.

Kade huffs and begins to smash some of the screens. On smashing some screens Kade sees dark red blood covered skulls of animals behind the glass.

Roxy sighs and grips her bat tighter.

Cole's eyes go white as his upper torso and arms go limp as his breathing stops. His upper torso reanimates as does his arms as he starts walking closer to the screens. Luna pulls out her sword and attacks one of the screens, slamming into them as if it were a baseball bat.

"We're already attacking?..." Roxy sighs.

"Roxy, Sparrow's attacking Cole???" Luna replies.

Sparrow cracks another smirk, "Lets see how you all would like to indulge in a little infighting."

Roxy sighs, putting her bat over her shoulder, "Doesn't seem like a good idea either way." She runs towards one of the screens and bashes it in.

Orpheus begins trying to climb up using the screens.

"What else can you do." Kade tries to pull out one of the skulls from a screen just to see it.

Cole pivots to face everyone as his head tilts suddenly to one side as he smiles widely. The skull bites at Kade's hand as frost spreads from Cole's feet to cover the whole backyard in seconds.

"...uh oh," Luna mutters. She summons a broomstick that she uses to float over the frost layer.

"Oh a WHORE-" Kade grabs the skull as it bites at him and crushes it with his hands.

"Wuh oh!" Roxy continues smashing screens like they're mailboxes in a rich gated suburb.

Orpheus huffs, and looks at Cole, "Whatever." Orpheus takes out his axe and jumps off of the wall of screens, trying to strike Cole from above.

More skulls emerge from the smashed screens and start swarming Roxy, trying to bite at her as Cole glides backwards to dodge Orpheus's attack.

Sparrow remarks as she watches, "So how many strikes until you disown Cole too hm? What mistake will it be?"

Jesse looks up from his pondering to see the fighting. He picks up his rock and starts to throw it repeatedly into the screens.

Orpheus yanks his axe out of the ground and immediately goes in for another hack at Cole's body.

"You say like any of this is his fault", Spider retorts.

Roxy screams at the skulls, swatting at them with her bat, cracking some on the rusty nails. Kade cracks his neck as he raises his hammer, swinging at as many screens as he can.

Sparrow adds, "Won't change if you suddenly decided you had enough."

Luna attempts to speed over to Cole's back.

Spider continues, "Oh really? So what happens if you aren't in control? It's not your fault? How many times did we use that for each other?"

Jesse's throws grew weary, the rock being quite heavy, and his body being feeble, "Hoo boy... fuck..." He began to search the area for another weapon or object.

The skulls continue to swarm and bite at Roxy, the skulls from the screens Kade is smashing begin to also bite at him, as small spikes form in the frost. Cole's jacket rips as a metal strip wraps around Orpheus's axe as well as Luna's sword.

Roxy tosses Jesse her bat. It's wooden and has lots of rusty nails embedded in it, "JESSE, CATCH!"

Luna struggles against the metal strips to retrieve her sword, "GIVE IT BACK YOU BITCH!"

Orpheus lets go of his axe and lunges to sock Cole in the jaw with his other hand.

Sparrow huffs, "Always so nitpicky."

Kade jumps back and makes sure he gets in proper positioning, before swinging at a bunch of the skulls and shattering the ones coming at him all at once, "HOLEEEEE IN ONEEEEEE."

Jesse catches the bat, holding it steadily. 

"Hey, thanks! Batter-Up!" He swings it into the screens like he's chopping a tree.

Roxy holds her necklace tight as she tears it off, and in a flash of purple distortion, a massive battle axe is in its place, almost twice Roxy's size. She starts clearing out skulls with it. The handle is a black metal with purple grips likened to Roxy's form, the blade itself sharp, a deep black with bright purple amethyst engravings. Bits of amethyst poke out at the top of the ax as well.

Cole is socked in the jaw by Orpheus as he draws his combat knife, the knife shifts and melds into a longsword as he aims a slash at Orpheus's legs. Skulls emerge from the screens Jesse is smashing and start to bite at them. Wires slither in the grass as they move over to Kade and Roxy and try to wrap around their legs.

"A-" Roxy's and Kade's legs are wrapped but they both continue to swing.

Orpheus lets Cole slash his leg. In the meantime, he commits to trying to grab Cole and pin him to the ground with the forward momentum he already has from the punch and failed axe swing.

Luna's form changes as she attempts to launch a burst of fire at Cole's back.

Jesse continues to swing, not noticing the skulls are there until they've bitten him, "Fuck-!" He takes a few steps back, and begins knocking them out of the air like they're low hanging chandeliers.

Sparrow giggles at Orpheus, "You know you want to take his head off, go on, do it"

The wires hold Roxy and Kade in place as more slither over the more that are slashed. A frost wall forms to block the fire made by Luna. Cole is pinned to the ground a large spike forms in the frost aiming to stab Orpheus in the side. Some wires begin to slither over to where Orpheus and Luna are.

A strange vine of flesh bursts from the ground and grabs the ice spikes, trying to yank them down and shatter them before they can hit anyone. Orpheus begins trying to bash Cole's skull in with his fists.

Luna notices the wires chasing her as she fleas from them, trying to keep a good distance.

Kade gets held with wire, but gives a weak chuckle. There's a visible sound of strain and Kade starting to get visibly bigger and muscular. He slowly changes forms to Cerberus as he starts to tear his way free. He's now about 11ft and physically warm, as he grabs a screen and crushes it with his hand.

The follow-through in Jesse's swings might suggest that he played baseball at some point. For once in his life, he finally felt like he might be winning. Jesse gets a weird feeling of good luck.

Wires grab Orpheus's arms and try to pull his fists away from Cole's face as Cole's body is covered with arcs. The frost around Cole becomes electrified, some of the wires on Kade and Roxy try to stab into them to slow their movement even more. Wires begin to stack up and form one massive wire as the wires chase Luna around slowly growing in height.

Luna is speeding around the backyard staying as far away from the wires as possible. While doing so, she launches bursts of fire from her hands at them to attempt to slow them down.

The fleshy vines begin trying to overpower the wires and free Orpheus's arms. He begins to get very warm, and a deep growl can be heard coming from him. His mouth is shut tight, and smoke is pouring from his nostrils.

Roxy teleports out of the wires and starts trying to cut the wires.

Kade winces as the wires stab into him, but gives a growl as he tears some out.

His tail flares to life, grabbing a handful of wires into their jaws and tugging them out of himself as well.

Jesse turned and saw all the wires. He backs up, observing the situation and still knocking down remaining skulls. He watches Roxy cut the wires, taking a deep breath. The tattered converse beat hard against the ground as he flung himself towards the mass of slithering cables. He started swinging again.

Spider sighs and starts trying to smash screens.

The wires quickly reform and quickly slither over to Roxy and try to wrap around her legs again, the wires slow down slightly when hit with fire from Luna. Cole aims a kick at Orpheus's chest in an attempt to get him off and away from him. More skulls swarm Kade and continue to bite at him as more wires replace the ones that are tugged out. Some of the wires break off from the main mass and try to wrap around Jesse's arms, Spider smashes the screens as more skulls come out of the screens and try to bite at Spider.

"Awww is the kiss getting tired? You can always give up" Sparrow comments.

"...give up? Hm..." Luna lands on the ground.

Orpheus breaths red-hot flames directly on Cole's face right before Cole kicks him in the chest. It doesn't send him too far back thanks to the vines but it does get him off of Cole. Orpheus starts hacking up alot more black smoke.

Kade huffs, crushing the skulls that come at him, before he tugs out a screen, grabbing at the corners of it and pulling it out, and turning to throw it at Cole with as much force he can muster.

Roxy cuts the wires on her legs, kicking them away. Jesse panics a little bit, beginning to squirm and fight. He was still growing tired

A fleshy vine bursts from the ground and blocks the screen Kade had thrown from hitting Cole. Kade looks incredibly confused at the vine. Sparrow gives a glare to Orpheus.

The mass of wires that was following Luna instantly swarms her and tries to engulf her in the mass of wires. Cole's face melts slightly as the smell of burned plastic fills the air. The skulls shatter as they move away from Spider and instead swarm Roxy trying to divide her attention. Cole gets up, his movements stuttering and seizing slightly as he aims a stab at Orpheus's throat.

Spider continues smashing screens and taking care of any skulls that cross their path.

"Fine. I'm done trying to hurt my friend," Luna is engulfed by the wires.

Orpheus gets stabbed in the throat, but a bunch of the meat vines tangle together and go to stab Cole in the back where Luna was trying to stab at before.

Sparrow seems to be watching Orpheus more intently.

Kade furrows his eyebrows, visibly frustrated as he starts to climb in height, fur starting to grow from his body as he gets visibly more muscular in general.

Three heads appear as he finishes taking the form of Cerberus. They start tearing out screens without fully breaking them.

The screens are torn out, Frost covers Cole's back to block the meat vine from stabbing it. He then aims a slash at Orpheus's hand. More and more screens are torn out and smashed by everyone. Any remaining skulls retreat to Cole as they form up behind Cole.

"HOW DO WE MAKE THIS THING CRY???" Roxy continues.

Cerberus’s tail thumps against the ground. He is biting and chewing at any wires still trying to wrap around him. After pulling out some screens, it completely crushes them under its foot to make sure the screen and skull within are dealt with. The back of its throat from its middle head seems to glow faintly. 

Orpheus attempts to grab Cole's sword by the blade. He barely bleeds from his wounds as he snarls.

Wires start to cover the remaining screens to protect them from getting smashed and or getting ripped out. Cole rips the sword from Orpheus's grip and uses the momentum to aim a stab at Orpheus's stomach. Orpheus tries to Knee Cole in the area code as he's stabbed.

Spider stops fighting and instead watches, seemingly tired of it all.

Cole is kneed but he doesn't react as he aims another stab at Orpheus's stomach.

After a while all of Cerberus’s heads just fully turn their attention towards Orpheus and Cole. Roxy eventually stops, leaning on her axe and watching. 

Orpheus lets himself be stabbed. He growls, slamming his fists on the ground.

He coughs up smoke. He's trying to speak, but the fact he had his throat stabbed open doesn't make for the best vocalization. Vines wrap around Cole's shoulders, trying to yank him back off of Orpheus.

Cole is yanked off of Orpheus as he goes completely limp as the frost recedes back to Cole, his breathing starts again as he lays limp against the ground.

The glitches stop as Sparrow is lowered to the ground. She gets off the swing of wires and flicks her bracelet. In one moment it was only a bracelet but In the next moment, Sparrow wields an elegantly crafted silver rapier. It is sharp, light, and engraved with symbols from the days of alchemy. The blade shines as if light was shining upon it, even if there isn't at the moment. It feels warm. It feels dangerous.

Orpheus gets up, grabbing at his throat. He's still coughing up smoke.

He's staring at Cole, not caring about Sparrow at all. He pulls out a bottle of blood and shakily drinks it, healing his wounds.

Luna pulls herself out of the wires. Roxy sees the sword and backs up slightly, taking her axe with her. Spider’s breathing quickens up as she moves and looks away running her nails over the sleeve of their jacket. Cerberus’s middle head watches, narrowing its eyes.

Sparrow walks up to Spider and holds out the blade, pointing to her throat "Give me one reason I shouldn't return the favor."

Spider’s nails morph into claws and puncture through her jacket at the feel of the blade as she's hyperventilating now, she doesn't seem to be aware of her surroundings anymore.

Cole's eyes flicker back to life as he glances over at Sparrow and watches

Sparrow tilts her head some "So since you are not responding I should do a little experiment? See if it would kill you? Even if you are fighting back?"

Luna watches over the situation still struggling through the wires, but is completely unsure what to do, if there's anything she can do.

There's no response from Spider as her grip on her arm gets even tighter.

Cole's eyes click as they flick over to Orpheus.

Orpheus takes a deep breath and turns away from Cole, towards Sparrow.

"One reason: Killing her will probably kill you. Don't be stupid."

He's shaking, and obviously not calm, but he's doing pretty good at playing it, "You cut her open, she bleeds, you're fucked."

Luna speaks up, "The impurity!"

"Then wouldn't that be two birds with one stone? You've seen how much I've torn everyone apart," Sparrow keeps the blade up as she looks at Orpheus.

Jesse finally gets untangled. He staggers around momentarily, still holding onto the bat. His breath is heavy, and his shirt has been ripped in two different spots. "Fuck... What...?"

He falls flat on his back and just lays there, all tuckered out.

Orpheus growls, "I don't fucking care, you jackass!!! You think people want you dead??? If people wanted you dead, YOU'D BE FUCKING DEAD! Look, I'm gonna be honest, I have NO fucking excuse on Cole's part, but Luna and Spider didn't know it was you. Hey, did they kill a random person they never met? Yes. But they didn't know it was YOU. If they knew it was YOU, then it would've never happened!!! When you died, originally, when Terminal died. Nobody was ok. People fucking cared. People CRIED for you. People were HEARTBROKEN. So. Just...Fuck off. Fuck off. Fly a kite. Do whatever you want. Just leave people alone. If you really want to be evil? Stop giving them hope you can change. Stop trying to hurt them. Stop showing your fucking face. That way, they stay hurt forever, and you never give them hope you can change. Just-" He huffs and starts crying, turning away from Sparrow, "Just fuck off."

Sparrow pauses for a bit after he finishes. She looks over at the others.

Luna turns away her head from Sparrow. She is shaking like a leaf, a few tears fall from her eyes. Roxy clenches her jaw and unclenches it. Her grip on the axe tightens. Cerberus is focused on Orpheus, appearing clearly worried as his gaze softens.Jesse sways in his stance again, maintaining a white knuckle grip on the bat.

The leftover skulls and screens look over at Sparrow almost expectantly.

Orpheus glances back to Sparrow, before turning around.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? FUCK OFF! GO AWAY! GET THE FUCK OUT OF THIS HOUSE! KILL SOMEONE, OR FUCKING LEAVE. I DIDN'T HESITATE A SINGLE. FUCKING. SECOND. TO TRY AND KILL COLE. I WANTED TO KILL COLE. I WAS GOING TO CRACK HIS FUCKING SKULL OPEN. IF PEOPLE TRULY WANTED YOU DEAD, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU'D BE ALLOWED TO STAND HERE???" He's still shaking and crying, "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM US."

There's a slight shake in Sparrow's arm as she lowers the sword and backs up. Her eyes begin to water some.

Cole's voice is still partly distorted, "w-what? y-you tried to k-kill me?"

Orpheus continues to yell at Sparrow, "GO! RUN! FUCK OFF! GET OUT OF HERE! WE NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR FUCKING FACE AGAIN! JUST FUCKING LEAVE ALREADY!!!!!"

Luna is staring into space, but her gaze is on the scene. She is completely dead silent.

Cerberus’s left head shifts its head to Cole a bit, "You were literally trying to kill him so." The middle remains focused.

"B-but i- i don't i wasn't in control i wasn't" Cole sounds slightly panicked as he looks between the left head and Orpheus.

Sparrow looks down as she turns and walks away. The left over skulls and screens watch almost somberly as a few tears from each. A faint indigo rain falls over the group from the creature.

Orpheus stares at Sparrow as she leaves.

Roxy drops her axe and goes to bottle the tears. The axe turns back into a necklace which, once the tears are collected, she picks up and reapplies to her neck. "So... when are we gonna do Gander?" Roxy lets out a dry, humorless laugh, trying and failing to bring up the mood.

Luna sighs.

Orpheus looks at all the screens and skulls, "...What the fuck are all of you waiting for??? Shoo!!! Go the fuck away!!!! Nobody wants you here!!!!"

The screens all back up some and look at eachother. They slowly back into the trees. The creature is gone and the backyard is empty again.

Cerberus waves them off. Orpheus watches them leave.

Cole watches and then looks back at Orpheus with a distorted sigh.

Cerberus steadily poofs into a small burst of smoke as it takes the form of Kade again. He is still slightly taller than usual and still bearing teeth. Orpheus growls as he storms into the kitchen through the backdoor.

Luna finally exhales, "So... mission accomplished at least," she mumbles.

Cole nods slightly as his face reforms back to normal, his voice is back to normal as he mutters, "I have no one to blame but myself."

Jesse stands there, sweaty and disheveled. He watches people leave in little trails as his vision blurs.

Kade waits a moment, before entering the kitchen. Luna disappears. Spider is slowly starting to calm down attempting to get her breathing under control, she sits down and stares at the ground for a bit. Cole disappears

Roxy walks over to Jesse, "So... first Zinger fight... you have fun?"

"Tired... Saw something weird, but... it's probably nothing," Jesse hands the bat back to Roxy with trembling hands.

"..Keep it. I think you'll need it." Roxy doesn’t take the bat.

Jesse looks at the bat. It felt right. He looks up and smiles at her, "Thanks dude.."

"Of course, man. So uh.. wanna go home now, or-" Roxy shrugs.

Jesse nods, resting the bat over his shoulder, "Yeah... I can always talk to Cole another time-"

"That's probably the best idea.. Orpheus kinda almost killed him so like-" Roxy sighs, "Kind of don't blame him, though."

Jesse stared at the ground. He glanced over to Spider and agreed silently, "Yeah... I dunno, I'm still really fuckin.. uh.. confused.

"I mean... h. I'll probably explain it to you in more detail later I'm just. a little rattled right now,” Roxy puts a hand to her forehead.

"No worries.. It's a pretty icky sitch, if I may say so myself," Jesse looked up at the sky.

"Yeh, it certainly is.." Roxy lets out a cough, followed by a chuckle.

Jesse looks around at the woods, "I'm ready to go whenever you are."
